Play Ball!
Well, that’s actually for the Mets, visiting teams, and umpires. For the fans, it’s something else.
Let’s Eat!
Citi Field is now open for business as the home of the 2023 Mets, but it’s also a smörgåsbord of great food. The traditional hot dogs, pretzels, and beer are still around, but now they’re competing with sushi, tacos, empanadas, craft brews, hard seltzers, premium cocktails, and celebrity chefs.
Here’s a taste of the culinary options on tap for this season and where some are for sale. (Bringing tremendous pride to the borough, The Nourish Spot, which began in Jamaica, and Tang, a Korean restaurant in Bayside, are in the lineup.)
