#Newsflash | Get Ready for Queens Restaurant Month in March!
BY QEDC It's In Queens
Cities around the world host “Restaurant Week” promotions, and now Queens is joining the club. However, this version will be unique – just like the borough.
First of all, Queens has too many wonderful eateries for just seven days. Thus, Eats In Queens Restaurant Month will run for all of March.
Second, restaurants are still signing up, but the diversity is already overwhelming. Consider the following confirmed cuisines: Caribbean, Colombian, Cuban, French, Italian, Mexican, Nigerian, Pub Grub, and Vietnamese. A burger joint, a health food store, and a vegan place are also on the menu.

Third, the format shuns universal pre-fixe menus for a more simple policy: Restaurant owners determine their offers. The organizer, Queens Together, suggests 10 percent discounts on all food and drink purchases during regular business hours, but it’s only a suggestion.
Finally, diners can sign up to Donate + Dine, starting on Feb. 15. To participate, simply donate $25 or more and start dining.
Many more are expected, but 42 restaurants had already signed up by Feb. 3.

Queens Together is a dining-promotion and food-relief nonprofit that recently joined forces with the Queens Economic Development Corporation. Donate + Dine funds the agency’s food-relief projects.
