#InTheLoop | The Triumphant Return of NYC Water Tours!
BY QEDC It's In Queens
A local Royal is back, and she’s ready to party like it’s 2019.
After a COVID-induced break, Skyline Cruises re-launches its sightseeing tours this weekend.
It’s easy and fun. Patrons board a three-level yacht, called “Skyline Princess,” and take a 3.5-hour splash through Flushing Bay, the East River, New York Harbor, and back. They marvel at Manhattan’s skyscrapers, zoom under the BMW (Brooklyn, Manhattan, Williamsburg) bridges, wave at the Statue of Liberty, and maybe even smile at Brooklyn.
Skyline Princess can handle 450 guests at a time with more than 6,000 square feet of event space, including a dance floor and a bridal suite for those who want to cruise into married life. Consider it a floating catering hall — although outside caterers are welcome.
Prices vary, but admission ranges from $40 to $125 with Brunch, Lunch, and Dinner excursions. Start times run from 11 am to 7:30 pm.
Skyline Princess is home-ported at the World’s Fair Marina at the north end of Flushing Meadows Corona Park. There’s free parking.
