BY QEDC It's In Queens
It’s in the borough and by the borough, but for the entire world.
Queensboro Dance Festival 2023 will run from June 3 to Sept. 17. Now in its tenth year, the annual showcase will present about 30 free, outdoor events in public spaces by borough-based troupes representing 18 distinct genres.
The kickoff will be in Travers Park and the 34th Avenue Open Street in Jackson Heights on Saturday, June 3, at 3 pm and 6 pm. (Rain date: June 10). Expect lessons, shows, and plenty of music.
Then, new QDF features include dance parties with live local music in plazas and first-ever shows in Far Rockaway, Ridgewood, and Rochdale Village.
