Established in 2014, the Queensboro Dance Festival is an annual tour of parks, plazas, theaters, libraries, and streetscapes. QDF Founder Karesia Batan works with several dozen local troupes to present as many as 35 shows every year. As it’s the World’s Borough, genres include everything from Ballet to Classic Indian to Hip-Hop to Hawaiian Hula to Mexican Folklore to Soca to Tap.
