#InTheLoop | Food, Drink, Art + Live Shows! ‘Queens Rises Higher’ Celebration Is on June 25
BY QEDC It's In Queens
Good times are on the way!
Queens Rises Higher at Kaufman Arts District is on Saturday, June 25, from noon to 5 pm.
More than 50 of the borough’s best makers and creatives are expected to participate in this street fair-style event in the Kaufman Astoria Studios Backlot in the vicinity of 36th Street and 35th Avenue. (It’ll be similar-but-bigger-than Queens Comes Back!, which attracted several dozen vendors and hundreds of attendees in October 2021.
Restaurant owners, crafters, and entrepreneurs are still signing up, but this unique Astoria party already features dozens of vendors who will serve exquisite dishes, hearty soups, desserts, and decadent baked goods as well as craft beer, wine, and healthy fruit smoothies. At some spots, Made in Queens members will sell products ranging from shirts to jewelry to handmade soaps and candles.
It’s not all dining and shopping, though as local musicians and Queensboro Dance Festival members will present a free outdoor concert on a mini stage.
There’s no admission charge, but please register by clicking here.
