It’s “last chance” week in the world’s most diverse borough, as many summer series are holding their final events. Catch live music and outdoor dance or watch the US Open qualifying rounds for free, go to a high-class party, hit a silent disco or check out a dazzling violist with a hip hop streak.
Aug. 22-25, US Open Qualifying Tournament, 11 am. Watch professional tennis players compete for a few slots in the main draw. Free. USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, Flushing Meadows Corona Park.
Aug. 24, Whale Watching and Dolphin Cruise, noon to 4 pm (same time on Aug. 25). The American Princess boat has a 90-percent sighting rate. Regular season is winding down. Riis Landing, State and Heinzelman roads, Breezy Point.
Aug. 24, Wine Glass Paint Night, 7 pm. Decorate a unique, Earth Day-inspired wine glass with expert painter Masa Kitani. $34. Alley Pond Environmental Center, 228-06 Northern Blvd., Douglaston.
Aug. 25, Silent Disco, 10 pm. Headphone-wearing revelers sing and dance while three disc jockeys — Green with Top 40 hits, dance, and pop; Red with the best of 1980s and 1990s and 2K music; and Blue with hip-hop and R&B –battle for attention. Studio Square, 35-33 36th St., LIC.
Aug. 25, Forest Hills Tennis Stadium Party, 2 pm. Tennis on grass courts, cocktail party at stadium, banner unveiling, photo op at clubhouse, sunset dinner, live music, and dancing. $150 and up; proceeds go to West Side Tennis Club Foundation. One Tennis Pl., Forest Hills.
Aug. 26, Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day, 9:30 am to 3 pm. The world’s largest single-day, grassroots tennis and entertainment event offers interactive games, a free concert hosted by Radio Disney and appearances by pro players. Aug. 26, Warm Up 2017, noon to 9 pm. MoMA PS1’s outdoor music series presents live and electronic music across a range of genres. This is the penultimate one this year. Aug. 26, Beach Sessions Dance Series, 6 pm. Madeline Hollander presents a series of duets with beach rakes and six dancers. The rakes clear pathways that become the stage for the artists, whose tracks are recorded in the newly combed sand. Free. On the sand at Beach 110th Street, Rockaway.

Aug. 27, Love Express, 2:30 pm. Queens World Film Festival presents this movie as part of its Immigrant Voices Series.
