Get handy with your little ones and construct a crate toolbox together at your local Home Depot on Saturday, Jan. 7, from 9 am to noon. You can register for this free event online or just show up.
Those between 13 and 19 years of age can take advantage of the new Teen Access program at Flushing Town Hall and enjoy show for free (with school ID). This Friday, Jan. 6, at 8 pm, Ssing Ssing will perform. This eccentric band mixes Korean folk music with rock-n-roll and leaves audiences amazed with their energetic stage presence. $16/$10 for students. 137-35 Northern Blvd., Flushing.
