A multi-service wellness center has just opened in Maspeth – and it’s offering special introductory rates and free trial classes for new students right now.
Located at 55-25 69th St., Queens Community Yoga strives to serve everybody, regardless of talent or experience. Meditation is also a large part of the new studio’s mission and guided sessions focus on breathing, flexibility, and mindfulness.
In addition to group classes, QCY offers private sessions, workshops, and community events to encourage connection and personal growth. Owners hope to collaborate with local organizations to offer programs to the broader Maspeth community as well.
“We believe yoga should be for everyone,” stated QCY Founder Annie Herman, who worked at a YMCA in Pennsylvania before moving to New York City. “Our goal is to create a warm and supportive space where people of all ages and abilities can come together, move their bodies, and find balance in their daily lives.”

Editor’s note: The address might seem familiar because QCY shares space with the MotionScoop Dance Academy. Walls separate the studios.
