Here’s the chance to party like an animal…without eating any.
Vegandale Festival is at Citi Field on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 11 am to 8 pm.
This seventh annual, worldwide, all-vegan destination – which is debuting in Queens – features artists, innovative food, live music, and art installations. Plus, DJ Lohrasp Kansara makes sure the music never stops.
Let’s start with the munchies. Attendees can anticipate more than 200 vendors – including ones from as far away as Los Angeles and Toronto – showcasing specialty items exclusive to the event and products not readily available in stores. (Queens vendors include Bevo’s Kitchen, Destination Dumpling, and Quiaufas Kitchen.)
GloRilla, the artist behind the summer anthem TGIF, headlines the entertainment section with Hip-Hop icons Quavo and Polo G in the lineup. The art installations embody the core ethics of veganism.
Ticket prices run from $15 to $150, depending on entrance time and consumption.
The best access point is via Lot F, which is the closest lot to the 7 train’s Mets-Willets Point station.
Established in Toronto in 2015, Vegandale Festival is the world’s largest touring vegan experience, taking place in eight cities across North America and the United Kingdom. In past years, the event has drawn roughly 100,000 attendees and more than 1,000 vendors each year. It strives to promote a world free from animal exploitation.
