He makes faces disappear from driver’s licenses, fills cups with water from the air, and jokes that he has more personal information than Mark Zuckerberg.
Now for his greatest trick, he’s heading to Queens Theatre for the best two shows of his career. (We hope.)
The illusionist Vitaly shocks and awes with An Evening of Wonders on Nov. 23 at 7:30 pm and Nov. 24 at 2 pm. (The second show features audio description.)
Regular tickets are $37, but $33 for seniors and students. Outer side tickets go for $27, but $24 for seniors and students.
Born in Belarus and raised in Israel, Vitaly became passionate about magic at age 14. A bit later after graduating from Technion: Israel Institute of Technology, he decided to forgo an engineering career to focus completely on his craft. He has since performed all over the world, including Las Vegas, Chile’s Puerto Montt, Tel Avis, Toronto, and Vancouver. He gained fame for fooling Penn & Teller twice on their television show Fool Us. Recently, he had a 16-week run at the off-Broadway Westside Theatre, which is actually where Penn & Teller first made it big in the 1980s.
Queens Theatre is located at 14 United Nations Ave. S. inside Flushing Meadows Corona Park. A large, free parking lot is nearby.
