The LIC Springs! Street Festival will unfold (and explode!) on Vernon Boulevard from 46th Avenue to 50th Avenue on Saturday, May 18, from noon to 5 pm.
All systems go and all hands on deck, this annual blockbuster (pun intended) mixes music, performances, open studios, interactive lessons, art, fitness classes, outdoor dining, games, and a fair share of quirky activations.
Admission is free.
This year, LIC Springs! is organized into six areas. Each spot has its own lineup of activities. For example, bop over to Block Two (48th Avenue to 49th Avenue) for Bareburger, BrickHouse Ceramic Art Center, Martinez Dance School, SING LIC, and others. Hang out at Block Six (46th Avenue to 46th Road) for Binge Biryani, Brooklyn Boulders, Long Island City School of Ballet, The Blue Bus Project, plus. Swing by Block Three (47th Road to 48th Avenue) to enjoy Little Chef Little Cafe, Madera Cuban Grill, Tiger J Taekwondo, and more.
Plus, there’s a main stage where performances will go on from 12:15 pm to 4:20 pm.
