#Newsflash | Revel in The Soul Rebels in Queens on Oct. 26

The Soul Rebels formed to revolutionize the Pop and Big Brass tunes they enjoyed during their youth in New Orleans. They blended Funk and Soul with elements of Hip Hop, Jazz, and good ol’ Rock-n-Roll.

The result is top-notch musicianship with songs celebrating peace and love.

Catch the vibes when The Soul Rebels take the stage at Queens College’s LeFrak Concert Hall on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 7 pm.

The eight-member collective – which has collaborated with Branford Marsalis, Green Day, Katy Perry, Metallica, Mobb Deep, Suzanne Vega, and Wu-Tang Clan – recently appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and NPR’s Tiny Desk series. They have also been featured on soundtracks for the Universal Pictures film Girls Trip and Disney’s Haunted Mansion.

Ticket prices run from $35 to $45.

LeFrak Concert Hall’s address is 153-49 Reeves Ave. in Flushing. A free parking lot is neary.
