#Newsflash | Queens Science Museum Opens Exhibition on Man’s Best Friend

This exhibition is going to receive many rounds of a-paws.

The New York Hall of Science holds an opening ceremony for Dogs! A Science Tail on Friday, Oct. 6, from 10 am to noon. The display will run through Jan. 7, 2024.

On loan from the California Science Center, the immersive, four-part traveling exposition explores the bond between humans and dogs, including how dogs evolved, how they experience the world, and what makes the bond between humans and their best friends so special.

Guests will have opportunities to see real dogs, pretend to be dogs, and share their favorite dog photos and videos. Plus, trained professionals and their canines will present amazing demonstrations.

General admission to the Hall of Science is $19, but children, students, and seniors can attend for $16.

As part of the fun, the museum will host a Dog Parade on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 11 am to 2 pm. (Registration information will be announced soon.) Plus, the museum will borrow Westminster Kennel Club’s Agility Course on Sunday, Oct. 29, from noon to 4 pm.

Other activities will be announced soon.

The Hall of Science’s main entrance is 47-01 111th St. in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. The venue has a large parking lot.
