Are you ready for eight concerts with works by 55 composers and 42 performers over four days?
Queens New Music Festival 2025 fills The Secret Theatre with contemporary music from Thursday, May 15, through Sunday, May 18.
Presented by Random Access Music under the artistic direction of Thomas Piercy, this 14th annual auditory feast showcases a diverse range of musical voices with a lineup including soloists, ensembles, and world premieres.
General admission is $20 per concert, but students pay $10 only. (Tickets are available online or at the venue.) A $60 festival pass provides access to all the concerts.

May 15
8 pm: Random Access Music Ensemble performs works by Beata Moon, Masatora Goya, Frances White, Seth Boustead (world premiere), and Allaen Schulz. Members include Risa Harman, soprano; Seth Gilman, baritone; A. Lish Lindsey, flute; Thomas Piercy, clarinet; Sabina Torosjan, violin; Molly Aronson, cello; and Tengku Irfan, piano.
May 16
8 pm: Vox Novus, a chance to hear emerging talent as RAM supports the creation and performance of new music.
May 17
2 pm: Aaron Copland Guitar Ensemble and guests offer music by William Anderson, Pat Muchmore, Astor Piazzolla, and others. Members include guitarists Kevin Gallagher, Dan Lippel, William Anderson, Kyle Miller, Adam Negrin, John Chang, Pascual Araujuo, Daniel Zapata, Jack Bergen, Aiden Lyons, Kelly, and Danile Zapata along with pianist Oliver Rivera and flutist Kelly Aguilar.
6 pm: Ju-Ping Song does piano works by Christopher Cerrone, Isaac Schankler, Molly Joyce, and Karen Tanaka.
8 pm: NakedEye Ensemble premieres a work by Neil Rolnick and plays music by Theresa Wong and Jerome Kitzke.
May 18
2 pm: Mantra Percussion.
4 pm: Hypercube, consisting of Jay Sorce, classical and electric guitar; Andrea Lodge, piano and accordion; Erin Rogers, saxophone; and Chris Graham, percussion.
7 pm: Random Access Music Ensemble and guests perform world premieres by Zhihua Hu, Gilbert Galindo, Kevin Charoensri, Miho Sasaki, and Michael Schelle. Members include Thomas Piercy, clarinet and hulusi; Sabina Torosjan, violin; Mitch Lyon, cello; Marina Iwao, piano; and Zhihua Hu, piano.
Located at 38-02 61st St. in Woodside, The Secret Theatre’s auditorium can hold about 60 spectators per show. The venue is one block from the 7 train’s 61 St-Woodside station, and there’s parking on the surrounding streets.
