#Newsflash | Thirty Years in the Business…It’s Time for a Pizzaversary

It’s a pizzaversary along with a chocofest and a huge outdoor networking session.

Dee’s Wood Fired Pizza + Kitchen will celebrate 30 years in business in Forest Hills on Saturday, Sept. 30, from 5 pm to 9 pm.

As part of the fun, DEE’s, which is at 107-23 Metropolitan Ave., will offer a $30 throwback menu showcasing all-time favorites with a make-your-own pizza station and — here’s the kicker — exclusive giveaways for an entire year.

The pizzaversary starts soon after the Forest Hills Business Alliance’s Community Day on the Metropolitan strip between 74th Avenue and 70th Road on the same day, Sept. 30, but from noon to 3 pm.

The third annual street fair includes a free trolley ride, kiddie games, giveaways, promotions, and the “Meet Your Neighbors on Metro” passport game. As a special treat, The Scooches rock the block at around 1 pm.

The hosts are Eileen Arabian of DEE’s and Rachel Kellner from Aigner Chocolates. Kellner has promised some great chocolate prizes, and she just might roll out her Halloween menu as well.

Other businesses on the strip include La Dolce Italia Bakery, La Vigna Restaurant, Nick’s Bistro, Wagging Tails, and J+B Paint and Wallpaper.
