The bargains are back!
The QED Makers Market returns to QED Astoria on Saturday, May 4, from noon to 5 pm.
Several dozen Queens-based artisans will sell their work, including candles, jewelry, pottery, prints, and surprises.
It’s a fun, festive vibe and a great way to support borough crafters. Plus, Astoria-based SingleCut Beersmiths and Sexy Batch Baking Company will offer Happy Hour prices on suds and sweets.
Admission is free, and those who purchase $25 (or more) from QED will receive an Admit 2 pass for future shows and a tote bag, while supplies last.
Here’s a list of confirmed vendors. Many more are expected to sign up soon. And please note that QED Makers Market coincides with Shop Small Astoria Retail Crawl.

Located at 27-16 23rd Ave., QED is a woman-owned, multipurpose space that hosts everything from comedy shows to writing workshops to debate watch parties. The name is an abbreviation of “Quod Erat Demonstrandum,” which is Latin for “That Which Has Demonstrated.”
“QED was created by and for artists of Queens,” stated owner Kambri Crews. “Weather permitting, we’ll open up the backyard for folks to enjoy a drink and snack and rest up before hitting all the other stores on the [Shop Small Astoria] crawl.”
