During an episode of America’s Got Talent, supermodel Heidi Klum chose Sal Valentinetti as a Golden Buzzer recipient. Ever since, the Italian-American crooner with flawless vocals and a larger-than-life personality has been performing around the country with the stage name “The Voice.”
His next show is at the Queensborough Performing Arts Center in Bayside on Sunday, March 30, at 3 pm.
It’s a Rat Pack tribute, so the audience should expect to hear The Voice do his renditions of ditties made famous by Dean Martin, Tony Bennett, Sammy Davis Jr., and his personal favorite, Frank Sinatra.
Ticket prices run from $45 to $60.
Born on Aug. 26, 1995, The Voice grew up in Bethpage, Long Island. By age 15, he was covering Sinatra in joints around New York. He was studying at St. John’s University and working at his cousin’s pizzeria in 2016, when he debuted on Season 11 of AGT, delivering what some consider to be the best performance in the NBC show’s history. (More than 350 million people watched him croon “My Way.”)
Before long, The Voice was opening for Jay Leno in Las Vegas and selling out NYCB Theatre at Westbury. (He’s probably not making pizzas anymore.)
QPAC is located on Queensborough Community College’s campus. The entrance is 222-05 56th Ave., and a large parking lot is on site.
