A small Flushing store has grown into a national chain and made the crossover from the Chinese community to the entire United States market over the past 15 years.
Qbedding, which began as a brick-and-mortar flagship at 41-47 Main St. in 2008, now has branches on both coasts and a thriving online business. (Other locations are in Milpitas and Monterey Park, California; Edison, New Jersey; and The Shops at Skyview at 40-24 College Point Blvd. in Flushing.)

The “Q” in the company’s name reflects the owners, married couple Annie and Jerry Qu, but it could refer to the borough where they grew up: Queens. Maybe it should be called”QQbedding.”
When opening the Skyview shop in September 2023, CEO and Founder Jerry Qu stated: “Qbedding began with a single, powerful idea: to redefine the meaning of comfort in the bedding industry. From Main Street in Flushing to our brand-new location at Skyview, our journey was nothing short of incredible.”
