A guided Valentine’s Day Art Walk will wind through Sunnyside on Friday, Feb. 14, at 1 pm.
Organized by LIC-based art agent Raluca Anchidin, this crawl will start with food and beverages at Cool Beans (51-01 39th Ave.) before heading to Skillman Avenue to check out handmade Mexican pieces at Tlapalli Artesanías (50-15), cityscape photography at Vital Art Studios Gallery (50-14), wall art paired with baked goods and beloved owner Gary at Aubergine Café (49-22), and Mid-Century Modern furnishings, vinyl records, unique gifts, and oddities at Stray Vintage (48-09).
There’s no obligatory entrance fee, but Anchidin suggests a $5 donation to support the artists and small businesses owners. Participants are welcome to purchase items at each stop.
