Find out why they’re known as “The Rat Pack of Opera.”
Tenors Unlimited perform at the Queensborough Performing Arts Center on Sunday, Nov. 19, at 3 pm.
British crooners Jem Sharples and Paul Martin return to the United States with an eclectic selection from the opera, musical theater, and pop worlds. They’ll take the audience on a journey through time-honored songs by such legends as Luciano Pavarotti, Mario Lanza, Sting, Michael Bublé, and Freddie Mercury.
Ticket prices run from $38 to $63.
After solo careers, Sharples and Martin joined forces about 20 years ago. They seem to enjoy each other’s company on stage, exchanging jokes, singing harmonies, and even comparing bow ties.
Located at 222-05 56th Ave. on Queensborough Community College’s campus, QPAC has an 875-seat proscenium theater. It’s not near many public transportation options, but a large parking lot is nearby.
