Four dapper gentlemen. Four groovy genres. One concert.
The Suits will croon, boogie, and generally get down at Queensborough Performing Arts Center on Sunday, April 14, at 3 pm.
Attendees can expect hits from the 1950s through the 1980s with a heavy dose of Motown, Doo Wop, Pop, and Soft Rock fused with smooth choreography and tight harmonies backed by a live band. The crowd can also expect to interact with the performers who like to tell stories, crack jokes, and have fun on stage.
Ticket prices run from $38 to $63.
“December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)” by The Four Seasons is often in the rotation. So is “My Girl” by The Temptations. Other frequent diddies at Suits shows include “Can’t Buy Me Love” by The Beatles, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours)” by Stevie Wonder, “Uptown Girl” by Billy Joel, and even “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey.
Located at 222-05 56th Ave. on Queensborough Community College’s Bayside campus, QPAC has an 875-seat proscenium theater. It’s not near many public transportation options, but a large parking lot is nearby.
