#PickoftheWeek | Disney Princesses in Queens
BY QEDC It's In Queens

Are you ready for “Under the Sea,” “A Spoonful of Sugar,” “Part of Your World,” “Hakuna Matata,” and maybe even “Reindeer(s) Are Better Than People?”
The Little Mermen, a Disney cover band extraordinaire, will present a Singalong Tribute in Bayside on Sunday, Aug. 14, at 11 am.
Founded by singer-songwriter Alexis Babini in 2015, the band’s repertoire covers all 82 years of the Disney canon, including the scores from The Lion King, Mary Poppins, and Frozen. To add to the fun, the musicians dress up as characters from the films.
In other words, these princesses rock! The show is “enchanted.”
It’s free, and the Singalong Tribute will take place in the vicinity of LIRR station by Bell Boulevard, 41st Avenue, and 213rd Street with support from City Council Member Vickie Paladino and the Queensborough Performing Arts Center.
After the show, the artists will participate in a meet-and-greet.
