And now here’s the music lineup: Chickenhead, a local band that rocks covers from the Rolling Stones, Doors, Cream, and other favs; Music After Dark with Queensborough Performing Arts Center Executive and Artistic Director Susan Agin for dance and pop hits; Kriazias Band, which performs and teaches Greek music and dance; Petty 5, a Tom Petty tribute band; Yesterday and Today (Beatles); and Illusion, which honors female rockers.
Make a copy of yourself and enjoy the Woodhaven Street Fair, which goes from noon until 6 pm. Spread out along Jamaica Avenue from 80th Street to Woodhaven Boulevard, this annual gem also features free entertainment, games, vendors, and goodies from local businesses. Families flock from all over to this 41-year tradition, which is possibly the borough’s biggest in terms of attendance.
