The prices are golden, but it’s still a sticky situation.
The Honey House at Astor Apiaries hosts the Sweet Independence Sale from Friday, July 4, to Sunday, July 6.
Selected items – raw bee pollen, arvoli-infused straws, eco-friendly gifts – will be marked down by 10 percent to 50 percent. And savvy shoppers will be able to enjoy a honey-tasting bar, a honey-lemonade stand, and a raffle giveaway (to win a sweet prize, of course).
Located at 33-22 23rd Ave., the Honey House offers a wide array of services stretching from beekeeping (classes, tools, equipment) to homemade products (candles, books, artisanal crackers).
The eight-year-old company was founded by husband-and-wife team Nick and Ashley Hoefly, who opened the brick-and-mortar shop in early 2024.
