Forget “all night long.” This party is all month long!
Queens Rising — a celebration of local talent and creativity — kicks off with Queens Scene: Flushing Town Hall on Saturday, June 1, at 7 pm. Then, this third annual promotion continues until Sunday, June 30.
Last year, Queens Rising promoted more than 300 events in collaboration with more than 100 organizations via advertisements, social media, networking, and press releases. The numbers should rise in 2024. Click here for the full month of activities.

June 1, Flushing Town Hall, 7 pm. An eclectic music concert with Sin Fronteras World Jazz Quintet (Latin and Modern Jazz), The Scooches (Americana, Indie Folk, Gender Bending), and Mister Pablo (Mixed Genre, Latin). (137-35 Northern Blvd.)
June 14, Terraza 7, June 16. Here’s the three-day lineup: Guachinangos, Cumbia and Mexican Jarocho on June 14 at 7 pm; Samuel Torres: Alegria, Latin Jazz on June 15 at 6 pm; and Terraza Big Band, Jazz on June 16 at 4 pm. (40-19 Gleane St.)
June 19, Jamaica Performing Arts Center, 7:30 pm. BRIC Brooklyn Grand Slam 2023 winner Jasmine “JRose” Rosario hosts a spoken word event featuring Jerome Heka, Keys Will, Unique on Purpose, and Divine Wordsmith. Shenna Vaughn creates visuals on canvas with live painting, while DJ Tam Jams brings the jams. (153-10 Jamaica Ave.)
June 29, Queens Botanical Garden, 1:30 pm. A concert featuring local talent with such performers as Gina D’Soto, Jennah Vox, and the Queens Symphony Orchestra. (43-50 Main St.)

June 6, Opening of Say It Loud: Unsung Heroes, 6 pm. The visual art show focuses on the LGBT community. (Culturelab LIC, 5-25 46th Ave.)
June 8, Queens Night Market, 4 pm. Six hours of music and dance with Vivarta Arts Dance Company, DJ Tommy “T” NYC, Alea, and Island Interlude Band. (Behind the New York Hall of Science in Flushing Meadows Corona Park.)
Northwell Health, which is Queens Rising’s title sponsor, will host Arts & Healing Panels as part of the experience.
