Cloning. Telepathy. Drone videos. There are so many Halloween options in Queens this year that people will have to get creative to attend them all.
To make things simple, we provide the following regional list of events with the borough divided into four areas. However, we understand that we might have missed a few fun activities, so this column will be updated continuously.
Northwest
Saturday, Oct. 26
Juniper Valley Trunk or Treat at 11:30 am Safe trick-or-treating, pumpkin picking, games, and more as organized by City Council Member Robert Holden. Juniper Valley Park, Middle Village.
Halloween Harvest Festival at noon Celebrate the autumn season with the cutest and spookiest dog costume contest. Workshops, music, and food vendors are also in the mix. Socrates Sculpture Park, 32-01 Vernon Blvd., Long Island City.
Halloween March + Festival at 2 pm Costumes, outdoor films, live music, giveaways, activities, and a parade organized by the Hunters Point Parks Conservancy, LIC Partnership, and the PS/IS 78Q PTA. The parade goes down Vernon Boulevard (vicinity of 46th Avenue) from 2 pm to 4 pm, then turns down 50th Avenue to walk to Hunter’s Point South Park, where from 4 pm to 6 pm for seasonal activities at Frank Ottomanelli’s by the Water and a costume contest at 5:30 pm. At around 6:30 pm, “The Addams Family” screens on the oval.
Astoria Filmmakers Club Halloween Costume Party at 8 pm The Astoria Filmmakers Club turns up the fright with a night of spooky, cinematic revelry and the eerie side of storytelling. RSVP for the location.
Queens Night Market Halloween-Themed Finale at 7:30 pm It’s the last market of the season, and trick-or-treating starts at 4 pm. The kids’ costume contest starts at 7:30 pm with the adults’ contest following at around 8:30 pm. This year’s donated prizes include a baseball signed by JD Martinez from the Mets, two VIP concert tickets to Forest Hills Stadium, two $100 gift certificates plus lunch at Bistro Verde from Nordstrom NYC (at 57th Street and Broadway), three gift certificates to the Kidding Around toy store, two roundtrip tickets from JetBlue, $100 gift certificates to Kiko Milano, JD Sports, and Zara, a one-night stay at the Hyatt Regency JFK from Resorts World NYC, three family-tickets packs for the Tianyu Lights Festival, and four Disney on Ice tickets at Prudential Center courtesy of Citizens.

Saturday, Oct. 26
Halloween Read Aloud at 11 am Bowne House educators read stories to celebrate Halloween. (Appropriate for children ages 5 through 11.) Bowne House, 37-01 Bowne St., Flushing.
Truck or Treat at noon Northwest Bayside Civic Association hosts the chance for youngsters to walk around and trick-or-treat in a safe space. Bayside Fields, vicinity of 26th Avenue and 206th Street.
Sunday, Oct. 27
Halloween on the Farm at 11 am It’s a monster mash! Wear a costume and enjoy trick-or-treating, a live DJ dance party, roaming performances, a spooky farmhouse, hayrides, and the Amazing Maize Maze. Queens County Farm Museum, 73-50 Little Neck Parkway, Glen Oaks.
Halloween at the Garden at noon Five hours of a spooky trail, a creepy compost demo area, an ominous orchard, and a fearsome forest triangle. Queens Botanical Garden, 43-50 Main St., Flushing.
Halloween Family Fun Day at 11 am The Bayside Village BID presents three hours of pumpkin decorating, magic shows, bouncy house, and other outdoor activities. A costume contest is part of the fun. On 41st Avenue between Bell Boulevard and the LIRR station.
Batty Over Halloween at 1:30 pm Central Astoria LDC spearheads this ninth annual celebration that includes stilt walkers, face-painting, and giveaways. Astoria Park Ditmars Lawn.
Halloween Family Fun at 3 pm A spooky celebration with scientific explosions and creative card-making activities. Debug the mysteries of bats and birds: what makes them similar and what makes them different. Voelker Orth Museum, 149-19 38th Ave., Flushing.
Shocktobertfest at noon A family-friendly Halloween festival with a Pumpkin Patch, inflatable rides, live music, DJ, photo booth, and crafts table. Playground For All Children, 111-01 Corona Ave., Corona.
Thursday, Oct. 31
Halloween Ragamuffin Parade at 7 pm. The Maspeth Lions Club hosts this annual march that usually attracts several hundred children. Start at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 65-40 Grand Ave., Maspeth.
Southeast
Saturday, Oct. 26
Trunk or Treat at 2 pm Safe Halloween trick-or-treating! Volunteers give out candy from parked cars. Rain date: Oct. 27. Maple Grove Cemetery, 85-30 Lefferts Blvd., Kew Gardens.
Southwest
Saturday, Oct. 26
Halloween Rooftop Bash at 8 pm Come in your best costume and enjoy light bites, a costume contest, DJ, and a three-hour Open Bar. Rockaway Hotel, 108-10 Rockaway Beach Dr.
