#InTheLoop | A Festival of Lights Will Illuminate Queens Botanical Garden

Take a walk in a winter wonderland.

Queens Botanical Garden unveils Lektrik: A Festival of Lights on Christmas Day.

The outdoor exhibition features more than 40 lamp scenes crafted by 150 artisans using 120 tons of steel and 150,000 feet of silk. Along the way, attendees will find acrobatic performers, artisan vendors, live music, food, and beverages.

Adults can expect to pay around $30 for tickets and $20 for children. However, there are many special offers and bulk-purchase options so prices vary. Buy tickets here.

It’s a first for the garden, but Lektrik installs electrifying landscapes around the world. The Queens theme is mysterious and authentic, centered around the idea of a winterland. Visitors can expect shimmering icy castles, snowy forests, and frosty landscapes – regardless of the weather.

Lektrik: A Festival of Lights will run into March 2025. Operating hours will be 5 pm to 10 pm from Wednesdays to Sundays. It’s suggested that visitors head to the parking lot at 42-80 Crommelin St. in Flushing. (The main entrance is at 43-50 Main St.)
