This family-fun event features midway games and rides for all ages, favorite fair food and World of Wonders old-time sideshow acts under the big top, from sword swallowers and fire eaters to escape artists and other exciting acts.
There is no charge for fair admission and the World of Wonders Amazement Show. Ride tickets onsite are $1.50 each, $25/20 tickets, $50/50 tickets plus 1 free ride, or $50 online for the BOGO Deal (100 ride tickets plus 2 free rides) until 5 pm May 10. (Rides take 2 or more tickets each.)
Fair hours are 4 to 11 pm Monday – Friday and noon to 11 pm Saturday – Sunday in the event field adjacent to NYSCI, at the west entrance to Flushing Meadows Corona Park. On May 12 and 19, the fair will coincide with the Queens International Night Market held Saturday nights in the park.
The Bell Blvd Food & Music Fest will be a good old-fashioned restaurant stroll with tastes from local eateries AND great live music on every block. Come ready to enjoy 30 kinds of food or drink and a dozen kinds of music – all within a few blocks! Expect a wide variety of cuisines, including French, Korean, Italian, Paraguayan, Indian, Greek, Irish, American and Cajun. See participating restaurants below.
Story time for younger folks and a salsa dance lesson for adults will build an appetite at 1 pm before the tasting starts at 2 pm.
Advance reserve tickets cost $25 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under (child tickets differ in color and cannot be used for alcoholic tastes).

The Queens Youth Music Festival or QYMFest, is the premier one-day, open-air live concert event for families in Queens NY. Presented by Prototype Music, the festivals mission is to celebrate the arts with music and dance performances by about a twenty up-and-coming artists and community groups alongside more established regional performers. QYMFest is dedicated to inspiring young talent from Queens and the surrounding neighborhoods to unite as one artistic community.
QYMFest will give attendees the opportunity to appreciate youth expression in Hip-Hop, American Folk, Jazz, Pop and Cultural Music. In addition to live performances, QYMFest will feature a number of fun-filled activities and demonstrations, including: visual arts, sports, and dance workshops; concessions; youth awards; fan meet-ups and outdoor games. Lava Girl Surf and LUNA are proud to present the 6th annual NY Women¹s Surf Film Festival, a free two night outdoor event, which will be held over two weekends in New York¹s landmark surf communities, Rockaway Beach, Queens and Montauk, Long Island.
The festival will be exclusively premiering Changing Tides Foundation¹s short film Sameseas on the East Coast. Moreover the festival will showcase diverse styles of story telling, from established and emerging directors, producers and filmmakers. This year, stories span the globe and feature films from the United States, France, Australia, Norway, Mexico, Bangladesh, Indonesia and the Dominican Republic. For the sixth annual festival the selections will highlight the inspiring lives of women surfers, their unique journeys and passions and their connections to the ocean.
