Inventing New Wor(l)ds!
Saturday,Nov 18,2017
Queens Library at Ridgewood, 20-12 Madison Street, Ridgewood, 11385
Many words we have today were created through stringing older words together, word associations and playing with sound and images. In this class, students will do the same, experimenting with words and meanings to create new words and using those words to write new pieces. Sherese Francis will be leading the class. She is a writer, blogger and literary curator published in African Voices, Newtown Literary and Bone Bouquet, and is a 2017 Queens Council on the Arts grant recipient.
