In this weeklong virtual summer camp, participants will tap into their creativity while making connections between brain, art and science. They’ll create personal art masterpieces and learn about primary and secondary colors, and principles of math. They’ll also learn how the brain’s perception works by viewing interactive cow’s eye and sheep brain dissection demonstrations. And they’ll investigate optical illusions and brain games, while creating a toy to amaze family and friends.
$150 per child. Camp will include live science demonstrations, interactive activities, social games that foster group collaboration, and physical movement activities to minimize effects of screen time. Prior to the start of the camp, registered participants will receive a materials list of easy-to-gather materials such as paper, crayons, etc. Limited capacity; only a small number of participants will be registered to ensure a more personalized experience for campers. Advance registration required. Register online at https://nysci.org/home/programs/innovation-camps/
