Culture Connection l Queens Library: Calypso Standards & More: Celebrating Caribbean-American Heritage with Brandon Bain @ Queens Library

Brandon Bain is a Brooklyn-born vocalist, activist, and songwriter known for his warm, easygoing delivery of the greatest jazz, pop, calypso, and classics of the American songbook. In the vintage spirit of such musical giants as Nat King Cole, Sam Cooke, Harry Belafonte, and Sammy Davis Jr., Bain blends pure silky tones, humor, and modernly honest renditions of all of the greatest classics. At this Culture Connection performance, international jazz singer Pauline Jean will join him. Come out to feel the beat of calypso.

Registration is not required. This program will take place in the Main Lobby.
