The Queensborough Performing Arts Center features a proscenium theater with 875 seats, a chorus section, and a Steinway concert piano. The center created the Professional Performing Arts Series to bring low-cost, high-level live entertainment that is multi-cultural, multi-racial, and multi-denominational. Recent shows include a concert by Davey Jones of The Monkees, the opera Madame Butterfly, dance by the Russian National Ballet, and a tribute to Swedish pop group ABBA.
