June 23, Brick Fest Live, through June 26. The ultimate LEGO fan experience with huge attractions and mind-blowing creations. Sculptures for this year’s event include The Great Hall, a four-foot-long model of the World’s Fair building made from 73,486 LEGO bricks and custom stickers. Free with museum admission. Preeminent film scholar David Bordwell’s new book, The Rhapsodes, explores four film critics from the 1930s and 1940s—James Agee, Manny Farber, Otis Ferguson, and Parker Tyler. To celebrate the book, the museum screens classic films that these critics championed. Citizen Kane shows twice, but Bordwell holds a book signing on June 25 only. $12.
