Back for a seventh year in New York, Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival presents a sizzling day of mouthwatering jerk foods, cooking contests, celebrities, cultural performances, reggae, soca and dancehall music. This annual celebration of Caribbean culture promises an exciting entertainment package of top-tier performers, including the Grammy Award winning reggae group, Morgan Heritage. Soca sensation Alison Hinds will also add spice to the main stage concert. The Cultural Stage will host storyteller and comedian Blakka Ellis, Dr. Sue, and Braata Folk Singers with traditional folk performances.
There will be fierce competition in the Cook-Off Pavilion with Chef Wenford Patrick Simpson, celebrity chef and corporate Executive Chef of BB King’s. Attendees will find an extensive food court, Arts & Crafts vendors, and giveaways as well as a Kidz Fun Zone.
