For kids of all ages, animation historian, Tommy Jose Stathes treats us to a reel of spooky cartoons from the 1920-30s. A master of vintage animation, Stathes conjures the magic of early cinema – fun and not-too-scary – projected on 16mm film. The screening starts at 5 but there’s mask-making, flip books and refreshments before the show starting at 3:30pm. So, come to make a mask to wear to the screening. Light refreshments served. Come for the full program or just the films.
Admission: $4 and $10 per family. Children under 3 admitted free.
Come in at 3:30pm for arts & refreshments before the 5pm screening.
